24 Hours in Santorini
I haven’t set foot outside of Vienna since a short springtime getaway to Meta di Sorrento and Napoli. Most of the summer was a metro, boulot, dodo situation (i.e. commute, work, sleep, repeat). So we kept our heads down during the unbearable heatwave and planned a two week holiday in Greece for the end of September and beginning of October: one week on an island followed by one week in Athens to visit a friend. The trip didn’t exactly go as planned, but this is a topic for another post.
Getting to Folegandros, a small island in the Cyclades, meant flying from Vienna to Santorini via Belgrade and spending the night near the town of Pyrgos Kallistis in Santorini before getting on a ferry the next day.
